Jaded Blossom Challenge !!!

Hi Everyone !!!

Over at Jaded Blossom they have NEW challenge today to create something using mostly green.

It doesn't have to be St.Patrick themed but I did anyway !

I made cupcake toppers using the NEW flag die from Jaded Blossom and their new stamp set "Food & Drink"

I also used Elegant Edges and Designers Calendar Cricut cartridges.

For the base I used a Silhouette file and the "Luck of the Irish" set to create my own patterned paper. Then embellished with twine.

The cupcakes I bought at Cupcake Magic a local place on Plumas Street....my cupcake toppers are sold there ☺

Jaded Blossom Mini Release and Hop!

So by now you have seen the fabulous NEW die, stamps and paper straws from Jaded Blossom.

I want to share with you a few projects I made with them.

My first project I used the NEW Jaded Blossom die, straws and the stamp set Babies & Weddings

I re purposed frappuchino bottles, washed them and peeled off the labels. Then I dipped the top in white chocolate and rolled in sprinkles. I used Rock Princess Cricut cart to cut out the first letter of the girl's names in outdoor vinyl. Filled with strawberry milk and added the straw with the flag die !!!

How cute would that be for your next party ???

I also created a super yummy cupcake decor! I used of course the flag die and a paper straw, but also the Jaded Blossom stamp set Food & Drink

I created the cupcake wrap with the gumdrop stamp from this stamp set, copics and a silhouette cut file.

Obviously it is Candace's Birthday so we wanted to do a little hop with items we have made for her.

I created this wall hanging with the Cameo and Jaded Blossom stamps

This cute little owl is on a wobble ~

I used my sewing machine, flowers, twine and pop dots

I also added a mini clothespin so she could clip up any note or picture that she chooses!

So ya cant have a hop or a birthday and not offer a little blog candy right???

Peachy Keen Sneak Release !!!

Yea a Peachy Keen Release !!!

I have a few projects for you today using some of the new releases going on sale tomorrow !!!

The first one is a notebook I bought at Michael's on clearance for .25 cents, I took it apart and redid the front and back!

I used Peachy Keen SOTM (PKSC-03) for the big mushroom, the mushroom on her dress and the face stamp.

I also used the New Peachy Keen "Mushroom Soup" background stamp, and the "Gnomegrown" set for the sentiment.

I also used the Cameo, Lettering Delights, Echo Park, flowers, pearl pens, sewing machine and fibers

This card I used Peachy Keen background stamp, SOTM, and the Gnomegrown set.
I also used the Cricut, Create a Critter and Jaded Blossom

I also wanted to share the card my daughter Lily made. She was soooo excited to color Gnomeo and Juliet....because a red and a blue it just cant be ! Lol

So I wanted to share with you some handmade lollipops I made. These are super simple to make!

Lollipop stick, 2 small candy canes, melted white chocolate, and sprinkles!!

I then made them cute by adding a tag using Jaded Blossom "Valentine Treats" stamps, 2 punches, and twine.

Quick easy and fabulous!!!

Jaded Blossom Release and Hop !!!

Are you excited ???

Its a new release and I'm in love !!

I'm first up on the hop and soooo excited!

This is one of my favorite stamp sets instead of doing a project with Funny Mail, I wanted to show you just some of the different variety's you can do with this one...

How exciting is that??? I have ALWAYS wanted stamps to stick on my mail and packages that I send out. And what fun for the recipient !!!

This first project I used a frappuccino coffee bottle. I peeled off the labels and washed it.
Then I used the Easter Treat set and created some Bunny Noses what a neat and inexpensive way to give that special someone some treats !

Also NEW in the store is this super cute treat box!!! I love that it fits bigger candy if you need it to. I used the Luck of the Irish set to create the background paper on the clovers.
The clovers were cut from a Silhouette cut file, and the flower from Art Philosophy Cricut cart.

Locally, there is a new cupcake place called Cupcake Magic in Yuba City on Plumas Street.

They have such yummy cupcakes these are their red velvet ones and super YUMMY!

A way to make them even more special is with cupcake toppers and wraps!!

I used Jaded Blossom Stamps, the Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge and a cut file.

Peachy Keen wobble card ~

Hi Everyone !!

I created a cute little Bee card for you today~

SO many firsts for me on this card !!!

I recently received a Cameo so this is my first cut with a My Scrap chick file. I of course had to make it much cuter with a Peachy Keen face stamp !! This face is from the February stamp of the month set.

I love how it adds so much cuteness to a image!!

I also used a sentiment from Peachy Keen the Cupid Sting (PK-295) . I also put the cute little bee on a action wobble from Peachy Keen as well.

My other first include using my new sewing machine on paper! I love it. I also used Echo park paper and Trendy Twine.

100 days of School !

Hi Everyone !!!!

Yes its already the 100th day of school on the Thursday. My daughter Lily who is 6 had to make a project with 100 items on a board.

Since she has her own Cricut she was of course excited to make her own thing. She came up with a Breakfast concept to have bowls of cereal.

I helped her find the images and figure out the size to make them.

Other than that she cut it, glued it and stamped adorable Peachy Keen faces on the bowls.

She was so excited to complete the project that SHE designed ♥

She used Create a Critter(milk), Savory (bowl), A Childs Year (Spoon), Simply Charmed (strawberry), Doodlecharms (heart) and Teardrop ( Font)

She added a heart to make 10 because Breakfast was only 9 letters long

Love Bites!!!

That's right sometimes love is great and wonderful and romantic like this box......and sometimes it just bites so I made it into a tissue box!...lol

This was cut with a Silhouette SVG, I then added a oval in the top to cut out to create a spot for the tissue.

I used the Jaded Blossom stamp set's, Valentine Treats and Love Bites.

I created a shape card. This card is 6 1/4" tall and 8 1/2" wide.

I used the big face stamp from Peachy Keen PKK-06 and Everyday Paper dolls and George and Basic shapes to create the card.

Added some bling, flowers, and Trendy Twine

For the face I used chalk, copics, white gel pen and Glossy Accents

The inside of the card is lined with pink cardstock as well.

My daughter Lily LOVES Peachy Keen so when I got my new stamp of the month kit she was all over it! LOL

I ♥ that this release can be used for party favors, cards, layouts AND that the circles fit a 1 3/4" punch no special die required!

This first favor I created is using the NEW wand candy tubes and the stamp set Sweet Celebration.

I also used my Cricut and some yummy Trendy Twine.

Here's a close up of the tag, this entire project measures at 15 1/2" tall The candy wand holds 4 packages of smarties ♥

Another treat is big 3 1/2" gummy candy. I just cutened it up with a tag that I embossed using the Valentine Treat set, the Sweet Celebration set, and some Trendy twine.

Im so excited to make my first official DT post for them I LOVE this twine !!!! I used their NEW Cherry Cupcake twine.

Reindeer Hershey Bar Slider

Hi Everyone !!! I'm a "guest" at Trendy Twine today....... I say guest because they asked me to do this before they asked my to be on their DT....which I'm ecstatic about because I ♥ the color combos she offers!!!

I made a ton of these for gifts it holds a full size candy bar. I also taped gift cards to the candy bar, so when they slide it out they get more of a surprise!

I used Holly Berry Trendy Twine to create a string of lights from the antlers!

Also some Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine for the nose. I used Scotch clear drying glue and started on the outside and swirled it until I got to the middle! Then added clear accents and course glitter to the outside of his nose.

Who doesn't like chocolate and money/gift cards? I know I do !!!

Its obviously all about the 80's I spent the majority of my 80's in grade school and some high school.

When I was little my favorite color was purple, I loved flowers and rainbows.

I also loved to go to the roller rink !

SO I created a shape card of some of my 80's favorites !!!

I used the Nifty Fifties Cricut cartridges, Grape Fizz Trendy Twine, and Peachy Keen Stamps "Stitches"

I also used my silver chrome pearl pen,and some felt flowers I cut!

Treats for the kids ~ PK challenge

Hi Everyone! As you can tell I ♥ making treats! So I made some treats for my daughters class. Also you remember I posted a pumpkin with sixlet arms and legs a few years ago? Well I decided to try it on a tree! I found these Christmas sixlets at the dollar store!!!

Of course I used the super cute Peachy Keen face stamps !!!! For the reindeer I used Art Philosophy, and Doodlecharms Cricut carts with the critter face stamp. For the tree treat I used Simply Charmed and the Snowmany faces.

You can find these 1x8 bags at Jaded Blossom ! Theres a ton of party favor type things coming !!

Christmas Party time!

Hi Everyone !!!

My daughter's Christmas party is this friday, so I voluntered to bring the juice! I measured the juice boxes to create little reindeer boxes that they can reuse once the juice is gone!

How cute to put candy or use it for a pencil box etc. ! Im happy with the way they turned out and hope the 1st graders like them ☺

I made 22 in all

Hi Everyone !!!! I'm sooooo flippen excited my for very first post on Trendy Twine !!!!

This month we are highlighting one of my favorites Chocolate Truffle. It is so pretty with 2 tones of brown mixed with the white.

I created a banner for my friend Suzi who is FINALLY having her first baby.....we wont mention that she is nearing 40 ! LOL! hehhee ♥ ya girl !

Since I wasn't able to attend her shower I told her I would do the party favors and decorations. She wanted a banner that would grow with him. So this is what I came up with ...these are the colors in his room.
I used Cricut cartridges Nursery Rhymes, Elegant Edges and George and Basic Shapes. The rosette's were handmade by me. I also used Trendy Twine in Chocolate Truffle and Blue berry !!!!

Hi Everyone !!!

Ive got a holiday card for you today !!!! I used the sketch from the Peachy Keen Challenge. The snowman stamp is Peachy Keen also. However, Im unsure what this cute little girl is called, It was a free gift with purchase last year.

I also used Blue berry twist Trendy Twine, the DCWV Winter Magic stack, also a pearl pen, spellbinders, copics, course glitter, glossy accents and ink.

Poppy's Cupcakes

Hi Everyone!

My daughter Poppy will be turning "3" soon, so I made cupcake toppers for her party. I made 6 of each color. Obviously these aren't real cupcakes.....On her birthday I will have cupcakes with green icing for grass!!!

Hi Everyone !!!

Last night was a 12 hour scrap fest at my house and oh so much fun !!! So I made some treats to give to the girls and incorporate a challenge into it.

I used Carmel candy corn, I don't even like candy corn but these are GOOD !!! I also used the Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge, Peachy Keen Stitch faces and some yummy two toned green Trendy Twine!

This challenge is for Trendy twine to use twine and a pumpkin on my project ☺

I created a few candy holders for you using......a toilet paper roll....thats right I took a empty toilet paper roll and cut it in half. I wrapped it in a 6x12 piece of paper and tied the ends with tulle and super cute Trendy twine. Then used decorative sissors and trimmed off the ends.

I filled them with WRAPPED candy and added a cute candy corn from Smiley Cards cartridge, a stamp from Pink by Design off the "Ghostly Greetings" set, and a Peachy Keen "Happy Fall" face.

How cute would this be for birthday favors? Just wrap then in cupcake/candy/or sprinkle paper....oooo I can see it now ! (or whatever theme your party is)

Just a tip I would use paper to wrap these NOT cardstock.

Halloween Witch

As you know I teach craft classes and provide kits. So my 6 year old wanted to teach me something today!She used cardstock and hand drew these cuts, then she told me to cut them by hand, so I did, then told me how to layer each piece and what to add.
Apparently I was suppose to use yarn for the hair but didn't have any so we improvised.
I added the stitching and dots on the boots, everything else Lily taught me !

How funny are kids? They want to be just like us, and she even taught me something I didn't know! lol

This is a Coffee gift card for a birthday I went to. It was for a man so I tried to use "manly" colors.. ( I know I was pushing it with the heart) ....LOL !!!

I used the Wedding and Martha Stewart Elegant cake cartridge to create this. The DCWV Green Tea stack and Pink by Design stamps from sets Make it a Venti, Tags and Treats, and Perk Up

Hi Everyone! I wanted take time to do a few challenges so I combined them together! This is a challenge for Peachy Keen from their sketch and the Cricut Circle Monthly challenge.
I used Everyday Paper Dolls for the dog and Peachy Keen Happy go Lucky dog face. I used acetate to create a window using the Bloom cartridge and a flower with glitter from the Art Philosophy cartridge.

I also used raspberry lemonade twine from Timeless Twine,eyelets and bling!

Hi Everyone!!! Zeni over at Scrappy Zeni asked if she could Spotlight one of my projects today. So feeling honored I said yes, so hop on over and say HI !!!

I recently entered the HSN banner contest and so I thought I would share the pictures of my banner, and cross my fingers that they like it!

Here's a few pictures, I inked and hand rolled all 30 flowers using the Art Philosophy cartridge, I made the pennants with the same cart, The doily's from Sophie, Font from Storybook and the chipboard cut outs from French Manor.
I also used different colored pearls, glitter, twine from the Twinery, tulle, stickpins, lace, stickles and I handmade the rosette's.

Have you ever dreamed of having an endless supply of an embellishment or certain paper???? You totally can! Both of these Layouts have digitally scrapbooked ! I have been digitally scrapping for about 4 years and absolutely LOVE it !!!!

I love to preserve all the memories of my family but spending time with them is absolutely the most important thing to me. This My Memories program is soooo easy to use, you can adjust the drop shadow, change the size of your embellishments change your photos to sepia or black and white, send it in to make a book, use any font from your computer, make your pics into a movie, etc...the list goes on!

I take my laptop on trips and scrapbook while riding in the car so I can spend more time with the family. I like to print mine 12x12 on photo paper and put it in their albums, then I can just change the size to 6x6 and print for the grandparents album, I also can very easily email all the pics to family and friends each month!! They LOVE seeing more than just a picture!

I realize I sound like a commercial but I truly do love it, when you need a certain theme you can download paper and embellishment packs that are inexpensive that you can use over and over again ! Also if you want once you print it you could add your own embellishments, the possibilities are endless !!!

Whoo Hooo I used my Cinch 2 last night......and I must say it was a cinch! (lol) I cant believe how easy it was...I have had my Bind it all in my closet for years untouched because I wasnt quite sure if I could use it correctly. I know I know I cant believe it either!

I wanted to create something for the Peachy Keen challenge so I created a post it note holder! I used Bump in the night Cricut cartridge, Peachy Keen monster faces, a MS punch, twine from the Twinery and some ribbon and button embellishments !!

It was to be a generic everyday card. I thought this would be a great card just to show someone you care.

I used the Cricut American Alphabet cartridge, a Pink by Design stamp from the set "Big Thoughts" a MS border punch, a SU punch and used pop dots and stickles on the heart!

Stamp Storage Video !

Hi Everyone! It's my DT day over at Pink by Design so today I created a card for you using the new Art Philosophy cartridge exclusive to CTMH (Close to my Heart).

All cuts were from this cart even the shape of the card. I ♥ this cart because of all the shapes I can use for tags !!!

Also a sneak peak of an upcoming stamp set release from Pink by Design! Other items used were pearl pen, button, dew drops, crinkle ribbon, spray glue and glitter

My favorite part of all is I finally have a system to organize my stamps !!! So don't forget to watch the video !

Today is my last day as a guest designer for Peachy Keen I ♥♥♥ ed it soooo much! It was a dream. Thanks to Peachy Keen for picking me for an entire week !!! I truly had a great time and if you ever need me again (hint hint) LOL !!!!

Today I got to participate in the Let's face it Friday challenge for this week. It is to design a shape card and using a Peachy Keen face..... yep I got a little carried away on the faces...LOL but I like how it turned out.

I used my gypsy and cut the grape from the Preserves cartridge at 7" and the Peachy Keen faces from Wide Eyed Kids.

Day 4 of Peachy Keen !!!

Hi Everyone !!! Thanks for visiting me for my week at Peachy Keen !!

Today I wanted to use my newest cartridge Sweet Tooth Boxes when I saw the cut of the cupcake box my first thought was "that would look so cute with a Peachy Keen face on it! "

I was a little hesitant about the cartridge but when I opened it I was shocked how simply and easy they made it. On each project they give you the size of what you should make your cuts !! Wish PC would of thought of this sooner.

Assembling the box was easy as well, my only suggestion is to use terrifically tacky tape to attach the bottom.

I altered the cherry on top, by using circle punch instead of sliding the 2 pieces to create the 3d cherry. I used the super cute Happy New Year face stamp

Day 3 with Peachy Keen !!!!

Hi Everyone !!!
I hope you've been enjoying my projects so far that I have created using the adorable Peachy Keen faces !!!

I wanted show you that use can use them for just about anything ! Today I used big jumbo paper clips and cut flowers from Simply Charmed. I used Laughy Taffy for the pink flower, The Princess set for the orange flower and Happy Lashes for the purple.

I cut a blank back as well and used hot glue to attach them.

So you can see how big they really are.......

Day 2 Peachy Keen Guest !

Yes that's right ! Today is the second day of my guest spot at Peachy Keen !! EEEKKK!! lol

I hold scrap nights at my house once a month and my friend Abby brought a bunch of scraps for us to look through. I saw this cute paper and used it as my inspiration !

The cut is from the Rock Princess Cricut cartridge I used the Peachy Keen face from Princess faces , the ric rac from Bazzil, stamp from Pink by Design and the cute hot pink and black twine from the Twinery! I also added stickles, button and white gel pen.

WHOOO HOOO It has finally arrived! I'm a guest designer for Peachy Keen !!! So this week I have created 5 projects, starting today I will post one each day on my blog and the Peachy Keen Blog.

The first project I created was these cute little note card set. I used the Lacey square spellbinders for the frame of the card and cute out fruit from the cartridge Preserves. To make them cuter I added Peachy Keen stamps !!!

For the peach (because there HAD to be a peach !!) I used the Princess set, for the lemon Wide Eyed Kids, and the Watermelon and the Blackberry from Happy Lashes.

For embellishments I used opal pearl pens Honeydew twine from the Twinery, pop dots, and a white gel pen

Hi Everyone !!!

Over at Pink by Design they are having a new project every hour to celebrate their Anniversary!

So today I created a card using the Pink by Design background stamp "Catcha Wave" and the Sentiment from "Crikey" also apiece of Pink by Design twine!

I also used the Lifes a Beach Cricut cartridge and the Spellbinders Lacey squares to create the front of the card.

HI Everyone,

I promised you a post today and so finally here it is! A car hit a pole and wiped out all the phones/Internet for half of our little town. So I'm excited that its back up ! My cell works barely ..lol

I created a Cricutless card today...I know right? lol...but when I saw this paper I knew I had to make something with real goldfish ! lol

I used 2 Pink by Design stamps, the wave background shown behind the fish and the sentiment is from Animated Greetings.

I used some yummy twine from the Twinery and Pink by Design and the tag and treat cup are both from Stampin Up.
Don't forget Sarah is releasing more cute stamps tonight at her live U-Stream !!!!

Wanted to say Happy Anniversary to my husband of 10 awesome years ! I ♥ you sooo much!!! This is a card I made for him because he loves to work out....

I used the Carousel cartridge and the Pink by Design stamps Just the ticket, and the Just 4 men set. It worked perfectly !!!

I also used glossy accents on his briefs, used a MS border punch and the square metal embellishments came from Michael's in the clearance bin for .30 cents a package!

This is an engagement picture of hubby and me... 11-12 years ago. Yes its from his wallet I'm still looking for the original..lol

I wanted to squeeze in a challenge, so I decide to combine a few of them.
I created a card using the Simply Charmed (for the watermelon) and Martha Stewart Elegant Cake (for the tags) cartridges. I also used a cute Peachy Keen stamp from Laughy Taffy, a MPS stamp and a MS border punch.

and for the inside I used a dollar stamp then colored it in with my copics

Lily's Party Decorations

Hi Everyone! I wanted to share some decorations I made for my daughters 6th birthday !!! She wanted to do the party in zebra and hot pink! SO I was able to find plates, napkins and balloons to perfectly match!!!

At Michael's I found some cute zebra print cupcake liners which again was perfect! So I created these cupcakes and banner

Here's a close up of the cupcakes... I used Mini Monograms and Sweet Treats

And here's a close up of the banner I used the Mickey Font, the Lacey banner spellbinders and created hot pink rosette's. I also used turkey feathers, bling, twine, and embellished with my white gel pen.
The party was a hit and she loved it !!! Thanks for stopping by~

Scrap Blog Hop !!!

Its all about recycling our scraps today..... My daughter has a birthday party this weekend so we made signs for the pop up trash cans !

Of course the hot pink is not a scrap but everything else is. I used "Give a Hoot" Cricut cartridge and a Peachy Keen stamp "Bright eyed and bushy tailed"

I got these huge leaf pop ups from ACE Hardware, made the signs and laminated them with my Your Story, then used twine to tie them on. I will of course use drum liners inside the pop ups.

Masking your Stamps !!

Hi Everyone!

Today I wanted to show you how to mask your stamps.
What is masking you ask???
Taking one stamp and layering it on top of another. In this tag I masked the spools of thread.
I made 2 projects the first a Vintage tag I used the Pink by Design sets Sew Lovely and Just the Ticket.

For this card I took the salt shaker from set " What's Shakin " and created a salt and pepper shaker.

Here's a quick video showing you how to get the most from any stamp image !

Circle Challenge

For the circle challenge was to create something for your car. So I created something very useful, this is a pocket organizer to hold your registration, insurance card and any other pertinent information you need at a moments notice.

I used the Street Sign cartridge for the cuts, twine from the Twinery and 2 different stamps by Pink by Design.

Its all about the beach today so I made a card with a Greeting Farm Stamp "Siren", I also used Spellbinders, a punch, Honeydew twine, button and added glitter to the eyeshadow and around the white cut out of the Stamp. The background paper has glitter also on the waves/swirls !
