Yudu Santa Bags

At my house Santa fills our stockings and leaves one unwrapped present. This year I found these big ADORABLE felt bags 30"x 21" at Michael's for $1.49 and thought they would be great to leave out for Santa so he could place the present inside the bag!!! It also has a draw string to close the bag.
I finally used my Yudu, but only had one emulsion sheet so I used vinyl and cut it in flip mode. I then applied it to the back.
Then just turned it over and used the squeegee and paint to write the names !!! I think they turned out great! I used Winter Woodland for the font.

The back on the screen with the vinyl and tape applied
This is the front right before I put the paint on.

Thanks for looking and hope you enjoyed ~

Holiday Baking !!

I know everyone is super busy! I'm so happy for many reasons !!! First I was picked as a Peachy Keen Guest designer for 2011 !!! It's a dream come true!! I will be designing for an entire week in August !! whoo hoo!

I'm also happy that my house is in order, Christmas presents are done and wrapped, now just to enjoy my kids and some holiday baking.

I wanted to share what my daughter Lily (5) made. I saw this on someones blog and now cant find it to give her credit :( I LOVE this because my daughter did everything except for taking it out of the oven !!!! She is so proud of herself.
Here are her turtles, only 3 ingredients! little pretzels, rolos and pecans!

so here's the recipe: place pretzels on cookie sheet w/ wax paper( I use silpats so they don't stick) Place a rolo on top of each pretzel in the middle bake on 200 degrees for 5 minutes, lightly press a pecan on the top. THAT'S IT !!! and YES they are YUMMY !!! Let them cool for a few hours before removing them so the chocolate will harden back up ( I read where putting them in the fridge is NOT recommended) Enjoy ~

First Easel card with Peachy Keen Stamps!

Hi Everyone!
This card is my first easel card and Erin was right they are alot of fun !!! For the Peachy Keen challenge I needed to have PK stamps of course, polka dots and be mostly white. Soooo whats white? SNOW! !!!

This card was a process LOL...mostly because I bought some Course glitter which is bigger than normal glitter. I made the snow with white ripped paper and inked it. Then for the snowflakes I embossed it using my Cuttlebug then added glue to all the snowflakes, snow hills, and trees then added course glitter to make it really sparkle !! (yep it was quite messy but I like the effect it gave)

For the cute snowgirl I used Peachy Keen Princess stamps (PK-640), Snow Friends cartridge and Fruit Punch stickles.
The trees and tags were cut from the Winter Frolic cartridge and a MPS stamp used.
I wanted to keep this card clean looking and I hope I achieved that!
thanks and Enjoy~

Getting ready for Halloween !!!

Everyone ready for Halloween? This week over at the Fantabulous Cricut were all about Halloween. Its not to late to make something special!

These were actually made by my 5 year old. She absolutely LOVES to make stuff with mom. I helped her with gluing the teeth but other than that for the most part she did it all! We made 52 in all. They are for the kids in her class, friends and family.

So how you can make your own? The Sixlets were purchased at the dollar store. The pumpkin was cut from Mini Monsters then I cut an extra pumpkin hiding all the cut lines for the back. We used glue dots to attach the sixlets before adding the back.

This is endless you could make these for a birthday and use a cupcake instead of a pumpkin, or whatever theme you choose !!!!! Enjoy~

Imagine and Regular cartridge card

HI ! I wanted to try my Imagine with a regular Cricut cartridge. I chose Wall Decor for the pear, then used the pattern paper on the Imagine Nursery Rhymes to get the cute pattern. I also used Lacy Labels to cut the scallops. I used the Imagine on the "cut only" option and used colored paper (and white).

On the white scalloped oval I used Divine Swirls embossing folder then enhanced it with Stickles.

This weeks challenge at My Creative Time is to create something with the Imagine and stamp a sentiment on it.

So I used MPS stamps on the inside for the sentiment and a Martha Stewart punch for the borders. This was made for my in-laws Anniversary!

Enjoy~ michelle

This weeks challenge!

This weeks challenge at the Fantabulous Cricut is to create something for the wall. Also Cricut me that's challenge is to create something for Halloween !!! I love creating things for the wall. I have a "Cricut" wall in my house that is seen from the kitchen, dining room, living room and front door. I change the scene for each holiday or special occasion.

My kids LOVE these creations. My daughter LOVES Halloween so she wanted "scary" stuff!

I used Happy Hauntings and Celebrate with Flourish. I also used silver stickles for the bats eyes !!! The entire scene is about 3'x2'

Enjoy!!!

Vinyl for a Store

SOOOO the children's store that I'm making cards for ...the owner wants me to do some vinyl for her walls.

She requested these images in black and purple colors, so this is what I came up with. I will have to take pictures again when its up on the wall ☺

Everything was cut with New Arrival and Plantin Schoolbook. I did create the "blocks" by altering some of the image with my gypsy, its actually 3 blocks in each block to get the cuts in them! The blocks are 11 3/4 x 11 3/4. The airplane and truck are even bigger!
Enjoy~
