Tombow & Jaded Blossom Summer Hop

Hello Everyone and Welcome to the

We have an awesome Line up for you today from Jaded Blossom and Tombow!

If you're here from DEBBIE,then your in the right place,  if not then you may want to start at the beginning.  If you get lost don't worry I have the entire Hop Line up at the end of this post.

Today I want to share my daughter Lily's 8th birthday party !
This year she wanted a Luau theme. Some may think I'm nuts for all this work for a birthday, but growing up I never had birthday parties and always wanted them so now that I have kids they will have them as long as they want them ☺

This is the Tiki SVG image I used for the invitations these were created for me by SVG Cutting Files to identically match the décor I had purchased. Since they are not her design they are not available for purchase, she did this to help make Lily's party fabulous! So thank you Ann !!!

Here are all the invitations front and the back of them. I deleted some of the personal information, but I created the back with the print and cut feature on the Cameo
I love that I can just type it, print and cut it out in the exact shape !

I used Tombow stamp runner and the Aqua Mono Liquid glue to put this together

Lily wanted a Aloha banner. I used cuts from SVG Cutting files, and the font from one I had on my computer.
I used Tombow adhesive for everything !!! The Stamp Runner to adhere the large items, the Mono Aqua glue for the small pieces and of course the 3d Foam tabs to pop all the lettering and hula girls.

Here's a close up of the luau girls that matched the plates
Also used is a Peachy Keen face stamp

I bought this chalkboard sign at Hobby Lobby and let Lily write and draw a pineapple welcoming her guests

Many things went in the treat bags !

This is one of them! I used the Jaded Blossom Fancy Topper die and 3x4 treat bags to create these !
I also used the Jaded Blossom stamps "Sweet Celebrations" and "Picture This"

For the hibiscus flower its from SVG Cutting Files

All Tombow adhesives used for this as well the Stamp runner, 3d Foam adhesive squares, and the Mono Aqua glue!
I love the Mono Aqua glue for the small pieces just a little dab !

Inside the bags I put candy and a Hawaiian necklace for each girl

The large goodie bags I bought these at the dollar store and used iron on vinyl to cut each of the girls names and iron them to the front.

Inside each bag was a grass skirt, lai, chalk, a hibiscus hair clip, lip gloss, funny glasses, a tiki glass, the above treats and they used these to gather candy from the piñata

For the food table I found these cute boards in the dollar section of Michaels and used brown and chalkboard paint.

I used them to cuten up the table and add some fun in naming the food
(sorry about the Aloha one....lol this pic was taken after the party)

again I used the cut file from SVG Cutting Files and the Tombow Power Tabs to attach the flowers.

For the party I ordered Shimmer tattoos from So. Cal and my husband was the official tattoo artist for the day. These stay on for 7 days. It comes with many different glitter containers, glue, brushes and different stencils. I think the adults were worse than the kids wanting them LOL !

These are my beautiful girls ( I cut out the rest of the kids, so I didn't post other peoples kids on my blog)

I found these cute lanterns at JoAnn's. So we hung them on the back patio

This was the entertainment for the day! All the kids had a blast my kids were on from 9am till 8 pm..lol they went to sleep within 2 minutes that night !

I found this HUGE lazy Susan dish I used for the fruit at Sam's Club.
I spent the morning cutting all the fresh fruit to get it ready.

I also served pizza, chips, oh and a bunch of strawberries not pictured.

This is the piñata filled with candy found at Party City!
I also made this AMAZING yummy punch a friend passed to me!
served in cute tiki glasses and fun umbrella straws!
you want the recipe right? Here it is:

1 cup of Country Time Lemonade powder
2 cups of cold water
1 can (46oz) of Pineapple Juice
2 cans of cold Sprite (or any clear soda)

I tripled this recipe and cut up several lemons and put in the punch as well.
Everyone LOVED it !!!

My daughters FAVORITE cupcakes are Red Velvet from Cupcake Magic and since I make all the cupcake toppers for their shop they were willing to change the look of their cupcakes for me !!

I had them tint the cream cheese icing and use the brown to represent an island and blue for the water

I then used pez candies and flower decorations and used a small dab of icing to adhere them.
I created the candy to look like flip flops
then put a umbrella in each cupcake

This was taken after everyone left and the girls had the waterslide all to themselves !

Here are all the Jaded Blossom and Tombow products I used in todays projects !
