Canning Basics and Spread the Love

Like many of you I make some of my Christmas gifts. So each year in July I make Blackberry Jam from berries my daughter and I pick from along side our road.

This stamp set is perfect for making labels for all your jams. jelly's, and butters.

You know what else it would be super cute for ??? A wedding on the plates of all the guests that attend in the Wedding colors !!!

Here's a jar of jam that I made last year and decorated it using both stamp sets, and the Cricut cartridge Preserves.

I even cut out the Bigger jar and used it as a super cute tag for my project life album!!!

I also made a cute little pouch, you can use at a party !!

This months class is this Saturday in Yuba City, CA. For those of you who are not local I now offer my kits ONLINE !!!

Online kits will include- Most materials, step by step written instructions with pictures and a private YouTube link to view how to assemble the project !!!

You will create these beautiful jar wraps: Blackberry Jam and Apple Pie Filling

This is a close up of the Blackberry Jam (My daughter Lily and I picked the berries for this jam last year)

Here is a close up of the Apple Pie filling (You would of course write, or type on the label Apple pie filling, Apple sauce,etc..

The tag can be added to give as a gift I stamped mine with "From the kitchen of" a stamp from Pink by Design's Tags and Treat set.

You will need the following to complete these projects

A Cricut machine that cuts by quarter inch

The Preserves Cricut Cartridge

Adhesive

Tacky Tape

1/16" thick pop dots

Glue Dots

Brown Chalking Ink

2 Canning jars small mouth (1 quart size and 1 pint size)

Everything else is provided including the handmade crinkle ribbon !!!

Kit cost is $15 plus $3 shipping. If you would like to do this project and do not have the Preserve cartridge there will be a $5 cut fee.

Preserves card

I realize I haven't posted much lately I have been working on some secret squirrel stuff LOL !!

Here is a card I made with Preserves! I used this AWESOME embossed paper in the shapes of wine corks which I LOVE !!! SO where do you get the awesome paper you ask???? It is in the "Weathered and Worn DCWV stack" I got it at Michael's.

I distressed the edges of the cork paper, pop doted the grapes and used a MPS stamp for the saying!

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge

This week is all about BBQ summer fun over at the Fantabulous Cricut!! I decided to create a great gift for any Master of the BBQ!!

This was made with Everyday Paper Dolls and Preserves for the tag! I also used the "famous" drippy goo punch by Martha Stewart. Enjoy!!

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Design

This is my second week designing for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog and I love it! It is so much fun!

This weeks challenge is create a "Cool treat shape card" The coolest treat I could think of is ice cream. I lived on this when I was pregnant LOL !!!

This shape card I used the ice cream cone from Indie Art and used my gypsy to weld two of the cones together to create the shape card. I cut the cone at 7"

Then I used Preserves and cut a raspberry at 1 3/4"

I decorated the ice cream with Fruit Punch stickles and the leaves on the raspberry in Lime green stickles.

Also embellished with a white gel pen and a pink glaze 3d pen...oh and I also inked my project ☺ Enjoy ! You can enter this challenge by visiting here at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog
