Jaded Blossom Release and Blog Hop !!!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Jaded Blossom's October Release Blog Hop.   Now if you're here from the Jaded Blossom Blog you're in the right place, if you're just passing thru start at the beginning because you don't wanna miss anything.  I also have the complete line up at the bottom. If you missed my projects this week here is the highlight of it

 

Here's what I created for you today !!!!

 

Mini Candy Cornucopia's !!!

I used the NEW Jaded Blossom stamp set "Lets Talk Turkey" also the Candy Charm and banner dies and the Flag die 2

 



 

How did I make these???

I tried several different methods until I found the perfect one !!!

 

I used my steamer and put the cones inside one at a time, when it was really HOT

***I recommend wearing rubber gloves this way you can shape the cone's easily***

 

There is no set time to leave them in, watch the cone once it starts to lose its shape take it out,

with one hand reshape the round opening and

with the other hand curl up the bottom with your finger

 

Hold them in your hand shaped like that for a minute or so allowing the sugar cone to "set" back up and harden.

And that's it! fill with your favorite candy !

I used peanut M&M's then coved with saran wrap

 

I also used some Trendy Twine to make it look pretty ♥

Jaded Blossom Halloween Challenge

HI Everyone !!!

 

Its that time for the Jaded Blossom Challenge!

 

This month its all about Halloween !!!

 

I made this huge pot of witch finger pens !!
I made green ones but you could make any color for any occasion.... like white for a skeleton, red for blood etc.....

 



 

I used the Jaded Blossom Fancy Topper Die for the tag in front, and the Jaded Blossom stamp set Halloween Treats.

The witch hat is from SVG Cutting Files and the Gorgeous purple rumple ribbon "Purple People Eater" from Lovebug Creations and  Purple Licorice twine from Trendy Twine

 

 

I used the Jaded Blossom Halloween Candies 1 & 2 for the candy !!!

 



 

I filled the pot with black beans then stuck in the pens (aka: witch fingers) then topped off the pot with the candy !!!

Here are the supplies I used for the witch fingers.

I used the clay that hardens when it air drys because the oven would melt the fingernails.

 

I used a toothpick to indent the clay for the knuckles.

Witch Shoe cards

HI Everyone !!!

 

A new file from SVG Cutting Files being released this Friday !!!

 

Here is the cut file AND another way of doing the card with the same file!

You get the card base and the witch boot and stocking !

 

For the card with candy I used a 1x8 treat bag from Jaded Blossom to use as the leg.

 

 

The flag is a die from Jaded Blossom as well as the sentiment from the stamp set Best Witches

 

For the large scallop tag I used a punch and little one Jaded Blossom Candy Charm and Banner die also stamps from the Jaded Blossom set Too Cute to Spook and Halloween Treats

Four Treat cup cards !!!

Hi Everyone !!!

 

Its my day over at SVG Cutting Files !! YAY !

 

Today I'm made 4 yes FOUR treat cup cards all NEW files being released tomorrow !

( ALL cards have trap doors in the back to get out the candy)

I also POP-dotted all the images on the card (kinda hard to tell in pics)

 

First up is a kitty I used candy fish to fill the SU treat cups

and a little of Trendy Twine

 

 

 

The second card is a spooky skeleton!

I used the Jaded Blossom flag die and the sentiment from "too cute to spook"

also a little Trendy Twine

 

For the eyes I used a black sixlet and white candy bones

 

The 3rd card is a cutie pumpkin !

I used the flag die from Jaded Blossom and sentiment from the set "Halloween Treats"

again with a little Trendy Twine

For the candy eyes I used S'more flavored candy corns !

 



The last card is a bat !!!

I used a Jaded Blossom sentiment from "Too cute to Spook"

 

and some bling balls I had in my stash

 



The candy cups are filled with yummy sixlets !

Cars Highchair Banner ~

HI Everyone !!!

 

Its a NEW challenge over at SVG Cutting Files !!!

 

Its all about Boys and their Toys !!!

 

AND...... Ann from SVG Cutting Files will be giving away this file for FREE to anyone who participates in the challenge this month!

 

My great nephew is turning ONE so I made him a highchair banner

this will wrap around the front of the highchair while he sits in it to eat his smash cake !

 

 

He is celebrating his birthday with a friend who is turning ONE as well so I made 2 banners and personalized the bottom of the piston cup with vinyl.

For the Paper I used the new Simple Stories "Say Cheese" the twine is from Trendy Twine called "Celebration"

 



I used yellow and clear stickles for Lightning McQueen's headlights

 



 

I used foam adhesives on all the images from Tombow "3d foam tabs" to make everything "pop"
