100 days of School !

Hi Everyone !!!!

Yes its already the 100th day of school on the Thursday. My daughter Lily who is 6 had to make a project with 100 items on a board.

Since she has her own Cricut she was of course excited to make her own thing. She came up with a Breakfast concept to have bowls of cereal.
I helped her find the images and figure out the size to make them.

Other than that she cut it, glued it and stamped adorable Peachy Keen faces on the bowls.
She was so excited to complete the project that SHE designed ♥

She used Create a Critter(milk), Savory (bowl), A Childs Year (Spoon), Simply Charmed (strawberry), Doodlecharms (heart) and Teardrop ( Font)

She added a heart to make 10 because Breakfast was only 9 letters long
thanks for stopping by ~

I used Create a Critter, Mini Monograms or a punch, and you can cut the card and hole by hand or use your gypsy with any cart that has a rectangle and adjust the size!
I also used Pink by design sentiment stamp...it says..."Fluttering by to say hi"

Spirit day at school !!

Every Friday is spirit day at my daughters school. Their colors are green and gold so I made shirts with my Yudu in green (because the ones the PTA sells are green)......well I was told little girls DON'T do green they do pink! LOL

So new ones were made in pink with green and gold accents...perfect for a little girl. One of my friends came over and made one for her daughter then also made some cute corker bows in pink, green and gold ...because a girl has to have matching accessories.

They were so excited to be twins today and rock it Kindergarten style!
If your interested in any kinds of bows Katie does a BEAUTIFUL job they are huge, my girls LOVE them, she sells them via facebook and hopefully a site soon..click HERE to see them.

I used vinyl on my Yudu instead of the emulsion process which is easier and cheaper! So I used cartridges Create a Critter, Lyrical Letters and Mickey and Friends.

Challenges Oh My !!

With the busy season I decided to combine a few challenges this week !!

First over at the Fantabulous Cricut we are having a super easy challenge to create ANYTHING with a ribbon! How easy is that? Be sure to link up your project by Sunday !!!

The second challenge was over at Peachy Keen whom I am in love with, their challenge was to make a holiday invitation, so I made this for a Christmas neighborhood light party with a quote from my favorite movie "Christmas Vacation".

The third challenge is for the Cricut Circle to incorporate the color black and something recycled.
This invitation/card was created with Jolly Holidays, Christmas Cheer, Stamping, and Create a Critter Cricut cartridges, also used was Peachy Keen Simple Simon and Everyday face stamps .

I used pop dots for the elf and the red backing, I also made the adorable PK faces shimmer on the bulbs with glossy accents !!!! Also and of course I used many different colors of stickles !! Enjoy~

Turkey Wall Vinyl

As many of you know I have a Cricut wall that I change with the holiday or occasion. For Thanksgiving I created a Turkey banner "Gobble till you wobble" Because thats what we do right? Ok maybe its just me then LOL....

The circle challenge is to have two elements a type of bird and stitching of some kind. So I made this out of vinyl, ribbon, rhinestones, and used my white gel pen for the stitching.

I used Don Juan, Create a Critter, Designers Calendar and Gypsy Font. This project spans approximatley 2 feet by 2 1/2 feet

If you would like to make this and want the directions please click here for the video

Thanks so much for stopping by !!!

Fantabulous Cricut !

Hi Everyone! This weeks challenge is to create a Zoo themed animal! Whenever I visit the zoo I always like to look in the reptile house, its neat to see scary stuff that close up a KNOW your safe LOL !!!
So this card I used the snake from Create a Critter and just cut off the party hat! The snake is cut from the new paper stack from DCWV "Weathered and Worn" The paper is textured to look more realistic!

I also used the Pearl frame Cuttlebug die cut and embossing plate to create the mirror. Its hard to see in the picture but the mirror is silver metallic cardstock I found at walmart on clearance (yippy).

I also used my destressing tool around the background paper & tag, inked it, added stickles, rhinestones, some cute eyelash movable eyes and finished it with a metallic green gel pen. Enjoy!

If you want to play along in this challenge please cloick here for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog Hope to see you there!
