Easter DT day !!

Its design team day over at Pink by Design ! I wanted to share an Easel card I made with the Hoppy Easter set. This set has too many cute sayings on it !!

I also used a Greeting Farm stamp, Purple twine, spellbinders, various punches and embellishments!

Explosion Box Kit

This month in class we will be learning and making this Explosion Box! If you live in Northern California the class is this Sat. April 16th.
If you would like the online class. I will include most materials, Written instructions and a private you tube link on how to assemble the project. The kit is $15 plus $3 shipping (within the 48 states).

Paper trimmer (one without a rotary wheel)
A Scoreboard
1/4" terrifically tacky tape or any other brand red double sided tape
glue
adhesive
medium brown chalking ink
8 paper clips any size (you will be using these temporarily)
a small flower pot 1 1/2" tall (I used a Terra cotta one from Michael's they were around .50 cents)
purple, pink, white, or brown paint if you wish to paint your pot (I used purple craft paint)
hot glue gun
spray glue and course glitter *optional*

Last month Pink by Design had a contest and many of you went to their facebook site and said I had referred you! I'm excited to say I won for the most referrals!!! As a thank You I spent part of my gift certificate and purchased one of her brand new sets to give to one of you! So this is a special easel card I created and sent her.

Happy Birthday Jenny !!

Today I'm a guest designer for my friend Jenny at Crazy about Cricut! Her birthday was the other day so in celebration of that I made her a card with her 2 favorite things: the color red and halloween. I used the new DCWV Lemon Flower stack, Greeting Farm stamps for the girl and a Pink by Design stamp for the sentiment. Please be sure to stop by and wish Jenny a Happy Birthday !!!

New stamp sets tonight !

So this is the night Pink by Design releases new stamp sets!

Our project was to make a tag, with a new background and one of the new sentiment sets!
For the cut I used the circle exclusive "Cricut Everyday" cartridge.

End of Watch

On April 1st 1997 my husband responded to a shots fired, officer down call over his radio. Moments later he arrived on scene to find a deputy he had just talked to less than an hour before, had been fatally wounded missing his Kevlar vest by inches.

Like soldiers serving over-seas the men and women of Law Enforcement put themselves in harms way protecting our own war here at home. At any moment the people we love could be gone forever.

I find it very fitting and a coincidence that on April 1st Pink by Design will be releasing many stamp sets, this being a sneak peak of my favorite.

I want to thank all men and women,past and present, who serve to protect our country, my family and the people I love!!

Lily's card

My daughter Lily is 5 and loves to "scrapbook" with mom. I recently bought some Greeting Farm stamps and she's been asking to use them.

She created this card by herself, I tyed the bow for her and helped her line up the spellbinders but other than that she did it all

Yes Im such a proud mommy of course I didnt let her use my copics except for the face, she used my old slick writers, ink and a dauber to create the pink background. I didnt tell her what to put on the card she wanted to use the pop dots stickles etc....

Enjoy~ She wanted me to put this on my site for all my friends to see...lol
