Holiday Baking !!

I know everyone is super busy! I'm so happy for many reasons !!! First I was picked as a Peachy Keen Guest designer for 2011 !!! It's a dream come true!! I will be designing for an entire week in August !! whoo hoo!

I'm also happy that my house is in order, Christmas presents are done and wrapped, now just to enjoy my kids and some holiday baking.

I wanted to share what my daughter Lily (5) made. I saw this on someones blog and now cant find it to give her credit :( I LOVE this because my daughter did everything except for taking it out of the oven !!!! She is so proud of herself.
Here are her turtles, only 3 ingredients! little pretzels, rolos and pecans!

so here's the recipe: place pretzels on cookie sheet w/ wax paper( I use silpats so they don't stick) Place a rolo on top of each pretzel in the middle bake on 200 degrees for 5 minutes, lightly press a pecan on the top. THAT'S IT !!! and YES they are YUMMY !!! Let them cool for a few hours before removing them so the chocolate will harden back up ( I read where putting them in the fridge is NOT recommended) Enjoy ~

Congratulations Michelle! I know your project are going to be just Peachy!

Your daughter did a great job! I have made some thing like this the only difference is that I used Hershey Kisses and put a M&M on the top after baking.

Merry Christmas!

We had made these this year but we put M&M's and York Peppermint (small candie like M&M's) on them instead of the nuts. Sooo good!

I make something LIKE these, using chocolate and yogurt covered pretzels, with a blob of caramel with a pecan, then drizzle with white chocolate and milk chocolate. I love the rolo idea! Next Christmas! :)
