Back to the 80's hop !

First of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMILY !!!!
If you just got here from Angelica's cute blog then your in the right spot if not, start HERE

Its obviously all about the 80's I spent the majority of my 80's in grade school and some high school.
When I was little my favorite color was purple, I loved flowers and rainbows.
I also loved to go to the roller rink !

SO I created a shape card of some of my 80's favorites !!!

I used the Nifty Fifties Cricut cartridges, Grape Fizz Trendy Twine, and Peachy Keen Stamps "Stitches"
I also used my silver chrome pearl pen,and some felt flowers I cut!
close up of my Peachy Keen face and the chrome pearl pen
Close up of my perfect bow using my new Unity bow maker...I ♥ that thing!
Thank you soooo much for hopping with us today !!! This is also a challenge for Peachy Keen !!!
What??? Blog candy???
Become a follower of mine and leave me a comment to win
some YUMMY Christmas Trendy Twine

Your next stop is........... Erin.... to rock with you...all night !!!

I love the rollerskates, they are adorable. The twine adds such a nice touch to the entire projects. Love accents with the chrome pearl pen. I am not familiar with the Unity bow maker, I'm hoping you will be doing a video on it so I can see how you make your bows. Great project!

The 80's were a big decade for roller skating! I took my kids to skating lessons when they were little and then to "skate dates" when school was closed. Skates were what they wanted for Christmas every year too. Now the old skating Ally is gone...sigh..

I was roller skating challenged and when they put on that disco ball and all those cheerio shapes starting traveling on the skating rink floor, it was always a sad and painful ending for me!

Love the skates. I did a search recently for skates. Of all the carts I have there wasnt a cut. So

Its funny, back in Hs in the 80's my teachers said we would repeat the past, and now my girls are. They've all asked for roller skates and are starting to wear clothes just like i did. i should have saved my HS clothes then i wouldn't be paying so much for clothes now.
