Giveaway, Challenges & Peachy Keen !!!

Hi Everyone !!! Today (Friday) is my Birthday so I wanted to post something dear to me.....LOL One of my kids of course !!! And a Happy Birthday giveaway for you !!

I've been really trying to catch up on my kids scrapbooks these past few months... I start a new scrapbook every year on their birthday so when they leave home they will have 18 books to take with them LOL !!!

I'm so excited to be up to December of 2011. As I was scrapping, I saw this photo and it reminded me of the current photo challenge for Peachy Keen, which is of a peacock feather, and I knew this would be perfect !!! I was inspired by a layout my friend did. She pointed me in the direction of a sketch blog and I fell in Love with May's sketch !!! She got it from My Creative Sketches !!!

On this 12x12 layout.....

I used Peachy Keen Funny Flowers for the big flower with the face on it, and the cute stamped butterfly up on the banner piece! I used PK-564 Teamwork for the sentiment.



I also used a Jaded Blossom flag die, the Art Philosophy Circut cart and yummy Echo Park paper.

This is one of my favorite sentiments....it always reminds me of my two little girls named after flowers. In the picture is my daughter Lily and my youngest is Poppy~

So this is an entry for the My Creative Sketches and of course Peachy Keen !!

Just wanted to share a card I made for the Peachy Keen Challenge this week!

It's Anything goes as long as it has a Peachy Keen Stamp !!

This is cut from the Silhouette store I was excited to learn how to create an instant shadow with the click of a button !!! So that whats I made the card base out of.

This Peachy Keen stamp is a 4" face! I used Echo Park paper and twine from the Twinery.

Now for my Mothers Day card I made using all Pro 31 designs  supplies.

The gorgeous paper is London Market, and the flowers are from Pro 31 designs as well.

I used a brown ink to ink the white flower, distressed the paper, used my Cricut and the Storybook cartridge, also a Stampin up stamp and banner die and Trendy Twine

Peachy Keen Challenge

HI Everyone !!!

Have you seen the Peachy Keen Challenge this week??

It's to decorate/alter a soup can ! Mine is from Progresso....lol

I used the PK-08 Hot Cocoa set and the PKSC-04 April 2012

I also used some snow in a bottle that they sell at Peachy Keen it looks like real whip cream !!

 

So eat some soup, alter your can and link it up ! lol

Video & How to make pencil's from Rolo's

Hi Everyone!!!

When I made these pencils last month I had a ton of emails asking how.

So I put together a video for you on how I did it.

These individual ones are for various people at the school, bus driver, janitor, secretary etc...

This is the one I made last month for the Jaded Blossom release !! Its in its own book for the teacher.

Jaded Blossom Challenge !!!

Hi Everyone !!!!

Its time for May's monthly challenge at Jaded Blossom !!!

Whhoooo Hooo !!

This month it is to create a project using 2 or more flowers and of course a Jaded Blossom stamp.

I made this card using the Jaded Blossom flag die and a stamp from Food & Drink.

I also used a SVG from Treasure Box Designs, Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kid Faces, Echo Park paper, flowers from Pro 31 Designs, the card base from Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge, and twine from the Twinery.

Also various embellishments including my sewing machine.

Peachy Keen Release going on NOW !!

Hey Everyone!!! I wanted to let you know about all the exciting stuff happening at 6Pm CST over at the Peachy Keen Connection!!

They will be releasing all their May stamps and have challenges to win prizes!

I have the honor of hosting the first challenge ,so I wanted to show you my project.

The challenge is to make a project with your Peachy Keen's and incorporate 2 or more pieces of fruit!!
What a nice way to kick off summer huh ??

And of course the Peach is front and center !! The grape I cut extra circles and added legs he was just a topper.

I used Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kid Faces on all these little bears

I had seen some cute little light saber candy at a store that I was going to use. But then when I went to make my project I couldn't find which store I saw them at.....lol

SO.... I found this one at Walgreens, it lights up and holds candy in the bottom!!!

I made a tag using the flag die and a sentiment from Jaded Blossom ,a SVG from Little Scraps of Heaven and Peachy Keen Critter face Stamps.

I used glossy accents on the light saber to make it shine~

and YES for all those who "know" Star Wars I realize I put a "good" guy with a red (bad) light saber LOL but red is all they had....and YEP I played with all of them in the store LOL !!!

Peachy Keen Release Week !!!!

Whooo Hooo May's Peachy Keen Release is this Saturday!!!

There will be a release party plus several challenges to play along with us!!!

I wanted to show you a sneak of SEVERAL stamps you will see on their release!~

I created a BBQ banner using their new background stamp PK-117. I created the pennants to look like tablecloths by stamping them, stitching them with my sewing machine and punching the edges to look like lace.

For the Burger I used Simply Charmed Cricut cart, Echo Park paper and the SOTM PK-05 May for the face stamp.

 

The cute little lanterns are also from the Stamp of the Month for May. Using Echo Park paper and The Twinery twine.

In between each banner piece I used various ribbon and tulle ~

For the mustard and ketchup bottles I used PK-115 "Let's Ketchup" and to create the relish I used PK-116 "We go together"

The rosettes are made from a star punch and topped with letters from the Hannah Montana Cricut cartridge. All patterned paper is Echo Park except for the background I created myself ♥

The last banner piece I cut a hot dog from Simply Charmed, used a Peachy Face, ribbon and saying are all from the Peachy Keen SOTM for May !!!!

I cut this 3d kitty box from the Silhouette store, I also used a Peachy Keen PK-110 kitty faces, a Jaded Blossom sentiment stamp and the Jaded Blossom flag die

I added some bling to her collar and hair bow~

Today I have a Birthday Card to share with you.

My friend from grade school and high school is one month older than me ♥ so I wanted to make a card for her.

I used a Jaded Blossom sentiment from "Make a Wish" the Jaded Blossom Flag die , Peachy Keen 670 Teddy Bear faces, Echo Park paper (the new Hello Summer)  an SVG file, my sewing machine and some Trendy twine.
