For Spring I made a stair step card. I used the Peachy Keen faces ~ Wide Eyed kids (for the boy) and the new Moodies (for the girl) and also the PK-295 Cupids Sting for the sentiment.

 

 

The adorable bee's are from SVG Cutting Files called Lil Stinger

Its a little hard to see but the boy has a "stinger" that is why I chose the face expressions I did

 



I added glitter pom poms to the cute bee's as well
paper is from Echo Park, Carta Bella, Simple stories, SU and PaperTrey

Organizing the kids Playroom !

Hi Everyone !!

 

I have had issues with TOYS ! They have taken over the playroom so this weekend I took a trip to Ikea and have sorted, donated and thrown away everything !

 

I'm kinda embarrassed to post the before picture, this does NOT represent what the rest of my house looks like I PROMISE ! LOL !!!

 

I LOVE being organized, and well my 4 year old lets just say we didn't knick name her "distructo" for nothing ! I feel bad my 7 year old has to pick it up all the time, so I HOPE these changes will help teach her to pick up and keep it organized!

 

So that's the before and after pic, I bought the huge 25 cube system and desk at Ikea for $199.00 and the bins for $4.99 each.  The cubes are huge measuring about 13x13 apiece (which would be PERFECT for a scrapbook room)

 

I also bought HUGE fabric laundry hampers from Target to put the stuffed animals in.

(yes I will need to go through those AGAIN were donating 2 full garbage bags of just the stuffed animals LOL and still have all these !!!!)

 



Since my youngest cant read I made labels with pictures to let her know what is inside the bins.

 

I used my Cameo to print and cut these. Using a shape, then back filling it with a pattern paper, and then I imported a FREE clip art file from the internet.

 

Now she knows exactly what is in the bin without getting them all out

 



 

After cutting the labels in the Cameo I laminated all of them to prevent them from getting dirty

Then I used Velcro on the back, so when she grows out of a certain toy I can just replace the tag with whatever is NEW in that box !

 



 

As we fill up the rest of the boxes I will add labels to those as well.

I threw away all the toys that were broken then involved the kids as to what they didn't want anymore.

 

I'm donating them to our county Foster Family Agency as I do not like to donate to Good Will, because they turn around and make a profit off what they are given.

 

I hope this inspires and helps those of you who have a playroom like my before picture ! LOL !!!

I created a cute little giraffe birthday card for a special little boy.

I made it into a shape card and used a Jaded Blossom sentiment from Birthday Candies and used the Candy Charm and Banner Die set.

 

Paper is from SU and Papertey and the ribbon from 3 Girl Jam.

 

I "popped" his face and nose and sentiment with charm.

My mom is a huge um well smart a--

and that's probably why I'm so sarcastic so I made her a card she will love !

Today is more about school !!!

I also used an embossing folder, trendy twine, and paper from Simple Stories

Today is about being crafty !!!

 

This is gift bag I made that I will giveaway at the end of the week to a follower who comments on any of my posts this week! the more comments the more chances !!

 

I used the NEW Jaded Blossom stamp set Craft On ! I also used the candy charm and banner dies, gusset

 bag, and the fancy topper die !!! ALL products of Jaded Blossom

 

I used a NEW cut file from SVG Cutting Files for the cute hot glue gun !!

 



 

I used glitter glue sticks from Imaginisce and some twine from the Twinery

Today we are showing 2 school sets at Jaded Blossom-  School Day Candies and School Rules!!!

 

Here's what I made with mine

 

I used the NEW Jaded Blossom School Rules to stamp sentiments on to the leaves !!!

 

This ADORABLE apple cut file (including the barrel cupcake holders) is brand new today as well from SVG Cutting Files

 



I also used Trendy Twine, tulle, Echo Park paper and because I didn't have any brads to match so I used a copic and colored the brads to give them a aged color !
